The Advocates for Human Rights
The Advocates for Human Rights is at the forefront of developing educational tools that help people learn about and apply international human rights standards in their families, schools, workplaces, and communities. We believe that education is one of the best ways to ensure long-term improvements in respect for human rights everywhere.


Amnesty International USA
Offers multiple resources. Youth in Action program acts on a variety of human rights issues, including educating school communities.


Human Rights Education Associates
Supports human rights learning; the training of activists and professionals; the development of educational materials and programming; and community-building through on-line technologies. Works with individuals, non-governmental organizations, inter-governmental organizations and governments interested in implementing human rights education programs. Offers a clearinghouse of education and training materials;


Human Rights Educators USA
A national network to promote human rights education at all levels of education in the United States. Provides resources, information, and many opportunities to get involved.


The People’s Movement for Human Rights Education
Promotes learning about human rights as relevant to people’s daily lives at all levels of society, that leads to action. Provides training globally and produces written and audio-visual pedagogical materials to support learning and dialogue for socio-economic transformation.


Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights
The Speak Truth to Power curriculum offers lesson plans and ways to get involved in defense of human rights.


Human Rights Resource Center
Creates and distributes Human Rights Education (HRE) resources. Trains activists, professionals, and students as human rights educators. Builds advocacy networks to encourage effective practices in human rights education.
