Works for the recognition and enforcement of economic and social rights as a powerful tool for promoting social justice and human dignity. Advocates for changes to economic and social policy at the international, national and local levels. Feeding America

Works to feed America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger. Action opportunities here.


The Hunger Project

Works for a sustainable end of world hunger through mobilizing village clusters at the grassroots level to build self-reliance, empowering women as key change agents, and forging effective partnerships with local government. Action opportunities include many aimed at young people here.


Kids Against Hunger

works to reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world. Approaches include the packaging of a highly nutritious, vitamin-fortified soy-rice casserole by volunteers at numerous locations within the USA and Canada, and the distribution of those meals to starving children and their families in over 60 countries through partnerships with humanitarian organizations worldwide. Meals on Wheels

Delivers a nutritious meal, a warm smile and a safety check that helps keep 2.5 million seniors healthy, safe and living independently in their own homes each year. Many action opportunities in local communities.


National Economic and Social Rights Initiative (NESRI)
