ORGANIZATIONS

National Council of La Rasa
Works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans.  Conducts applied research, policy analysis, and advocacy, providing a Latino perspective in five key areas: assets/investments, civil rights/immigration, education, employment and economic status, and health.  Action opportunities through focused campaigns.


National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (NNIRR)

Works to defend and expand the rights of all immigrants and refugees, regardless of immigration status. Offers opportunities to get involved in their issues and campaigns.


United Farm Workers

Works on a variety of issues to provide farm workers and other working people with the inspiration and tools to share in society’s bounty. Many action opportunities including specifically for young people.

The Graduates: Youth Action Guide

A video anthology and resources designed to inspire youth leaders to educate, collaborate, and co-create with their peers, their parents, and their communities. Concerns the challenges faced by Latino students and explores organizing strategies that can make a difference. Whether schools are predominantly Latino or not, addressing how to improve academic outcomes for Latino youth will strengthen the entire community and the social and economic future of the nation.
