American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC)
Largest Arab-American grassroots organization in the US. Committed to defending the rights of people of Arab descent and promoting their rich cultural heritage.  Non-sectarian, non- partisan.

American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
Advocates for an end to all forms of profiling and discrimination, and provides legal support to organizations and individuals who have been victims of racial and ethnic discrimination. Opportunities for action here.

Anti-Defamation League (ADL)
An international Jewish NGO based in the US. Fights anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry, defends democratic ideals and protects civil rights for all through information, education, legislation, and advocacy. Opportunities to take action on ADL priority issues.

Works to dismantle systemic racism and build antiracist multicultural diversity primarily by training institutional transformation teams. Offers 1-2-workshops for institutions such as: Introduction to Systemic Racism, Introduction to Anti-Bias, AntiRacist, Education, and Critical Cultural Competency.

Human Rights Campaign
Works to achieve gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality and realize a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
The oldest, largest and most widely recognized grassroots-based civil rights organization in the USA. Advocates for a wide range of civil rights, campaigns for equal opportunity, and conducts voter mobilization. Opportunities for individual action and petitions.

National Organization for Women (NOW)
Takes action to bring women into full participation in the mainstream of American society now, exercising all privileges and responsibilities thereof in truly equal partnership with men. Priorities include abortion and reproductive health services access, violence against women, constitutional equality, promoting diversity/ending racism, lesbian rights, and economic justice. Chapters in all 50 states.

Not in Our Town: Working Together for Safe, Inclusive Communities
A movement to stop hate, addresses bullying and build safe, inclusive communities for all. Multiple resources including videos, lesson plans and action ideas.

Welcoming Schools: A Project of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation
Initiated by parents and educators to meet the needs of students whose family structures are not well represented in school environments and also a response to educators who have asked for tools to address bias-based name-calling and bullying.
