International Documentary Association announced the nominees in 14 categories for the 40th annual IDA Documentary Awards.

Nominees in each Best Feature Documentary and Best Short Documentary category have been selected from the shortlists announced on October 24. IDA members can stream each of the nominated films and vote for films in the Best Feature Documentary and Best Short Documentary categories now through December 1, 2024. Not a member?
