Beatris “Betty” Ortiz-Drace

Beatris “Betty” Ortiz-Drace is a dedicated professional with a strong background in education and public service. She holds licenses as a Clinical Social Worker and a certificate as a School Social Worker in New Jersey, where she is highly regarded for her expertise and compassion. Betty is an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University and Rutgers University and has pursued a Doctor in Social Work (DSW) at Monmouth University in Leadership and Human Rights. Her Capstone Project is on Human Rights in Child Welfare Agencies. The primary objective of her research is to address the disproportionate representation of African American children in foster care and BIPOC families in the child welfare system.
