Chris Buckley teaches history and human rights, most recently at Brookfield High School in Brookfield, CT. Chris has served as a Lead Educator in the Speak Truth to Power program sponsored by RFK Human Rights since 2010. In 2019 Chris and his students were featured in RFK’s Master Class series which was co-sponsored by Discovery Education. Chris serves on the steering committee for the Connecticut Human Rights Partnership (CHRP) and has been involved in the development of events for young people in the state of Connecticut. Since 2016, he has been an instructor for the Introduction to Human Rights course offered by the University of Connecticut’s Early College Experience program and was successful in bringing the course to Darien High School in 2013. Chris also participated in RFK Human Rights international summit in Brussels in 2018.
