Brian Farrell is a Lecturer in Law and Associate Director of the Center for Human Rights at the University of Iowa and an adjunct lecturer at the National University of Ireland Galway. An Iowa native, he has worked to connect those teaching and advocating for human rights at the university level across the state and region, and helps organize the annual Iowa Human Rights Research Conference. Brian teaches undergraduate and law school courses related to human rights, international law, and criminal law.
