Lina Lenberg has been the Northern California regional representative for HRE-USA since September 2016 and is involved in HRE-related activities in the Bay Area, including organizing public education programs centered around the UDHR with UNA SF. She has 20 years of experience in curriculum development and has worked extensively with ELL students from around the world. In addition to her work empowering youth to become conscientious, compassionate, globally-minded human beings, Lina has participated in a number of volunteer projects abroad where she has worked with refugees, orphans, children and adults with disabilities, HIV-positive women, environmental groups, and a wide range of young people from many countries. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Human Rights Education at the University of San Francisco.
