Participate in Unity Day to Stop Bullying

Unity Day is October 23, 2019Unity Day is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month, a day to wear and share orange uniting for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

In-person bullying and cyberbullying continue to be serious, and potentially life-threatening for children and teenagers. PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center offers a wide variety of resources for educators to in turn offer assistance to students to create an environment where students feel included, involved and invested.

K-12 educators can register to receive free online bullying prevention resources. These resources are designed for weekly presentations in a classroom or community setting, can be delivered with flexible timeframes and under 20 minutes, have new themes and lessons every month, and the easy-to-use and navigate resources are designated for elementary, middle school, and high school students. These resources are also available on mobile devices so educators can access them anywhere they go on smartphones and tablets.
